New Clothes for CNY
Today I got a set of new clothes for CNY. The jacket is red color. It is suit to CNY feeling. I also do a new hair style. I think it will be a bit fresh and sunshine look for the CNY festive season… Wish I can have good luck this year.. 😉
Shopping for CNY
After a week of travel for works, finally back to home today. Though I was so tired, but I had to spend some time to shop for Chinese New Year (CNY). I rested a while in the morning. After lunch, I went to shop for clothes and food… The shopping list are too long.. I couldn’t complete it today.. But I am so glad to get a pair of nice canvas shoe.. This is my first item grabbed for CNY.. 😉
Cycling to Weekend Flea Market
Today I cycled to weekend flea market with BowBow (Evangelione Handmade Doll; I called this name because she has a bow on her head). This first time she sat on bicycle. She is so excited when I told her about this. We went together to flea market to look for some new clothes and shoes. Hope lucky to find some good stuff for myself and friends.
After an hour of shopping at flea market, we managed to buy a pair of sport shoes, a pair of green canvas boots and a stylish long sleeve sport shirt. Though there are many good stuffs there, but I only grab this few items. This is always the reason I can go back again every weekend.. Hahaha..
On the way back, we saw a little cute puppy on the street. BowBow has not seen dog before. So, I stopped the bicycle and let her feel and touch the puppy. The puppy is cute and friendly, but BowBow is nervous as this is her first time approach to an animal. She hide beside me all the time until she wanted me to carry her. But when we left the puppy, she kept looking the puppy and hope the puppy follow us back home. The puppy actually follow us along the journey. Because BowBow use her leg to attract it… So, when back home, I have no choice but to keep the puppy as our new pet.. After an hour, BowBow’s fear has gone and she started play with the puppy. I am so glad she has a new companion now…. Today is a wonderful Sunday. 😉
Recycle Old Newspaper
Yesterday spent some time and effort to clean the house. Suddenly realized I have so many old newspapar piling at the corner of my living room. It is the time to collect them together and send to recycle center. This is a good way to keep our environment green… recycle the waste paper and reduce cutting trees. If we can’t afford to plant tree for ourself, then just try to reduce using/recycling papers to save more trees from cutting down to produce papers. Love Green, for you and next generation.. 😉
Evangelione’s Handmade Doll
Today I went to a creative zakka store called Pipit Zakka (http://www.facebook.com/thepipit) at my neighbourhood. Finally, I saw my dream doll. I have been looking for her since a year, but always are sold out because it is handmade and limited number. This doll is made by a Malaysian Craftist, named Evengelione ( http://www.facebook.com/Evangeliones-Handmade ). I love her unique craftworks, especially this cute doll. Weekend Cleaning House
Today stay at home doing some house cleaning. Create a good, clean and healthy living environment. Often cleaning house to ensure house free from dust, debris, dirt and smell. This is a good start to have a LOHAS living. Every weekend just spend little time to clean house, this will give you a healthy living. So, wake up early morning, pick up your broom, get pile of water, start clean your house or room. 😉
Use Green Bag for Shopping
Today I have made myself a handmade green bag. Using green bag when you are going to shopping will help you reduce using plastic bags. Though this is a little help, but it will save the earth by reducing the pollution. Try to make your own green bag. This is fun. You can use some fabric pastel to draw your own design with graphic or patterns. I have done my own design too…. A green footprint on grass field.. It means “GO GREEN”. So, this is the first “GO GREEN” tip I have shared with you in new year 2012… Hope you will start with this little step.. 😉
Photography & Memory
One of my new year resolution is to improve and learn better skill on photography. Though I have bought my DSLR camera since 2 years ago, but I never really spend time to learn some proper photography skills. This was the reason I choose a camera with pre-set function. Maybe I have grown older now, I have a great enthusiam to take more photos to keep for memory, especially every moment and scene I have gone thru everyday….. Telling myself the stories I have gone thru… One day when my memory is faded slowly, those photos will remind me… My stories.. My life… My family… My friends… My pet… My dolls… etc… 🙂
New Year 2012 Doll Gathering
For the first day of new year 2012, I spent my day to meet few friends for a doll gathering. It is our second years having our gathering on the first day of new year. We are so happy to celebrate the aniversary of being together sharing our doll collection and stories. We wish our friendship and hobby will keep on in the future. 🙂
